Liebster!

Today, i woke up to a lovely award! Tania from Another L.A. Girl and Margot from Feel Fashionable awarded me both. So thank you to these two lovely ladies! You should check them out ;) As for the award, I think this is a perfect opportunity for new bloggers like us to get to know each other better and have the ability to share our blogs with more audience. So, what is this about? Directly quoting; "The Liebster Award is an award given to new bloggers which have 200 followers or less by fellow bloggers to help promote one another." 

Here's what to do:

1. Each nominee must first list 11 random facts about their self.
2. Then answer the 11 questions provided by the person who nominated them.
3. Lastly, choose 11 bloggers who have 200 followers or less and ask them 11 questions.

Since I've been nominated by 2 people, I'll answer 22 questions instead of 11. But first, 11 random facts about me.

• I was a total metalhead from age 11 to 19, I know everything about 70's, 80's and 90's heavy metal, hard rock bands. I was obsessed. Now I listen to all genres, I still dislike pop and club music but one in a hundred, there comes a song I surprisingly like. I listen to indie now, mostly. And I'm the biggest fan of the National.
• I study engineering physics and I'm in love with it.
• I learned how to read when I was 5 years old, and I'm crazy about reading ever since.
• My boyfriend is colorblind.
• I eat almost everything with yogurt and I only like cheddar cheese.
• I had 2 german shepherds, 5 stray dogs, 2 cats, 1 turtle, 5 fish and 2 chicks. Most of them passed away (one of my dogs in the age of 10 and my cat was 19 when he died, which is a long life for a cat) but they were all taken care of perfectly. I can't live without animals.
• When I bought my camera, it slept with me in my bed for weeks. I was insanely happy.
• My parents got divorced when I was 2. I lived with my mom for 14 years and with dad & his girlfriend for 5 years, now I live by myself and it's the happiest era of my life. Having a place on your own is amazing and the fact that I don't have to move every weekend is amazing. I don't visit them in their houses, I meet them for coffee, dinner or breakfast but i don't prefer sleepovers. 
• I'm left-handed and I really like being so. 
• I've been writing journals for more than 12 years. My drawers are filled with old notebooks.
• I'm pretty disappointed everyday that F.R.I.E.N.D.S is not real and I'm not one of the characters. It's not fair.

Now's the question time! :) Tanya's questions first.

1) What are some of your favourite trends and styles?

I feel really comfortable with leggings, I love how tightly they fit, and they don't wrinkle around the knees, which I hate. I use them as pants but I make sure my top covers my tushy :) I don't wear jeans anymore, i think jeggings are the biggest invention! I also collect band and Star Wars tshirts, and all my money goes to sweaters these days. Since I have long straight hair, beanies are kind of my thing as well.

2) How would you describe your personal style?

"Effortless." I like to wear comfortable clothes, but I don't mean sweatpants and a simple shirt I'm not up for high heels if I have to walk around all they feeling pain. I adore heels, but not all the time. I adore leather jackets. I try to look good without being overly dressy and tons of make-up. Eyeliner and Lip Tone from Blistex is the best make up for me.

3) Who are some of your favourite bloggers?

4) What is your guilty pleasure?

An MTV show called "Awkward".

5) Do you have any hidden talents?

I have to improve all the talents I have and share 'em with the world, so I don't consider them as "hidden". Yet, I take photographs, I draw and sometimes I write short stories. My talent in Physics is hidden to you guys tho, and I bet you don't want to see it :P

6) Who are your top 3 style icons?

I think I don't have any, I'm not professionally interested in fashion, so I don't follow official icons or trends. But I kind of like Alexa Chung's looks.

7) What are a few of your favourite things in life?

Being creative, traveling and cooking!

8) Where in the world would you like to travel?

So far I have seen France, Italy and Germany. I'd like to see most of the countries in Europe but my biggest passion lies in Alaska. I have to travel to Alaska before I die.

9)  What kind of a person are you?

I'm hard to be around sometimes but if you really are my friend, you'd know that I can do anything and everything for you when you need me. I'm always the reckless one so sometimes I have to be slowed down. I lack patience and it's the one thing I hate about myself the most. I hate waiting, it's hard to live like this. I'm caring but I don't like it when people fully depend on me. I grew up pretty much alone and made my own decisions so I freak out when someone tries to tell me what to do. I know how to make a decision and I know how to live with it.

10) What is something you always carry with you?

A souvenir coin I bought from the top of Eiffel Tower and a totally random wristband I wrapped around my wrist 4 or 5 years ago that means nothing to me. It's interesting how I still keep it there, I found it when I was tidying my room and randomly tied it to my wrist.

11) Which do you like more? Reading blogs or watching youtube videos from vloggers?

Definitely reading blogs because I love personal blogs with lots of photographs. Most of the vlogs are about products, clothes and fashion which I'm not interested all the time.

Tania asked some interesting questions! :) My favorite one is 10, it's the loveliest. Now here comes Margot's questions.

1) When did you start your blog?

Around last year but I wasn't properly running it, it's for the last 3 months I try to post something at least every week.

2) Why did you start blogging?

Because I bought an amazing camera and I'm obsessed with documenting my life. My journals are only handwriting and some illustrations, I needed some space to keep my photos as well, and I kind of wanted to share them with you people.

3) How would you describe yourself?

Read my answer to Tania's 9th question. :)

4) What are your favourite colours?

Black and blue!

5) What are your favourite (online)shops?

I don't shop online much, but Cozbest is pretty nice, their sweaters are amazing.

6) Who or what inspires you?

Not just one person in particular, when I lack inspiration i go online on StumbleUpon and try to take something from every random webpage I am being sent to.

7) What beauty product can't you live without?

If perfume counts, then perfume it is. Other then that I would have a pretty hard time without an eyeliner, I adore using it!

8) Who is your favourite designer or what is your favourite brand?

I can't afford designer clothes at the moment, maybe I can but I prefer to use that money for some things else. But my favorite brands lately are Pull & Bear, OYSHO and maybe H&M.

9) What is your definition of 'fashion' ?

I have to go with a very cliché here cause I definitely don't understand what professional people consider as fashion sometimes. Fashion to me is what I like and what looks good on me.

10) What magazines do you like to read?

I used to read Rolling Stone before it turned to shit. Sometimes I read National Geographic and that's all.

11) Do you want a career in the fashion industry?

Not as my main job but I always like it when people do 2 different things at the same time so I'd like it if I could design some t-shirts or have my photography printed on them, if this counts as fashion industry. Guess not.
